Who this policy covers

cool&curious is an India-based online poster store. This policy applies to visitors and customers using coolcurious.store, including the checkout and order-support experience.

By using the store, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not want to provide information required for checkout, you can still browse the collection, but we may not be able to accept or fulfil an order.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact details: your name, mobile number and email address.
• Delivery details: street address, city, state and pincode.
• Order details: the poster and size you select, amount, order status and fulfilment status.
• Support messages: information you include when you email us, including photos or order references you choose to attach.

Payment information

Payments are presented and processed by Razorpay. We receive payment and order identifiers, payment status and verification information needed to confirm the transaction. We do not directly receive or store your complete card number, CVV, UPI PIN or online-banking password.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site, hosting, security and measurement technologies may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, product interactions, timestamps and cookie or similar identifiers.

How we use information

• create, verify, fulfil and keep a record of your order;
• deliver the order to the address you provide;
• send or respond to essential order, payment and support communications;
• investigate failed payments, fraud, misuse, security issues or disputes;
• measure how the store and advertising perform and improve the shopping experience;
• maintain accounting, tax, legal and operational records; and
• comply with applicable law and valid requests from authorities.

We do not use checkout contact details to enrol you in promotional email or SMS campaigns without an appropriate choice or permission.

Who we share information with

We share only what is reasonably needed with service providers that help operate the store:

• Razorpay presents payment options and processes and verifies payments.
• Neon provides the database in which order and delivery records are stored.
• Vercel hosts the website and server-side order functions.
• Meta receives website and advertising-measurement events through the Meta Pixel.
• Production and delivery providers may receive the order and delivery details necessary to print, package or deliver your purchase.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect customers or the store, investigate fraud, enforce our terms, or respond to a valid legal process. If the store is reorganised or transferred, relevant records may pass to the successor subject to applicable law.

Some providers may process information from infrastructure located outside your state or country. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy terms and applicable law.

Analytics, cookies and advertising

The site uses the Meta Pixel to understand visits and actions such as viewing a poster, starting checkout and completing a purchase. Meta may use cookies or similar technologies and may connect these interactions with information it already holds, subject to Meta's own terms.

You can limit cookies through your browser and adjust advertising preferences in your Meta account. Blocking these technologies may reduce measurement or personalisation, but the core catalogue should remain browsable.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for order fulfilment, customer support, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution and other legal obligations. Different records may be retained for different periods.

We use safeguards appropriate to a small online store, including encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted database credentials and server-side verification of Razorpay payment signatures. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send card details, CVVs, passwords, OTPs or UPI PINs by email.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or request deletion where the information is no longer required. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we may retain information where required for tax, fraud-prevention, dispute or legal purposes.

You may also raise a concern about how your information has been handled. Email us from the address used for your order and include the relevant order number, if applicable.
